Why Tulsi ? Hi everyone. I am Abhijit Kulkarni, an Indian who stayed in the US for several years. So why Tulsi for 2020? Because she is the best presidential or prime ministerial candidate in my lifetime. At first, I knew Tulsi as the Congresswoman who resigned from the DNC Vice Chair position to support Bernie Sanders in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, as the first Hindu Congresswoman, a veteran and an avid surfer. The move to willingly give up power, to go up against the Clinton machine had already shown me that she had immense courage. Since the time she announced her candidacy, I have listened to her talk, looked up her positions and checked out her record. I began realizing that Tulsi was much more and better than what I initially thought - that she has by far the best foreign policy out of any candidates running , has an absolutely amazing domestic policy which can be argued to be the best and genuinely cares about people.
